10:30am - Joe heads back to the new house

Let's say 9:30pm - Go back to OUR NEW HOUSE and enjoy the fellowship (and beer) with Honey, Grandpa Kelly, and others
11pm - Back to old house to try to sleep
8am - pick up uhaul and begin to move in ernest

What a day! Now that I have a bit of a break in school, I have realized how good of a day this will be. I am never one to "toot my own horn" (at least intentionally), but we have very hard to get to this point. While at times we thought we would never reach this, God has blessed us richly through many trials and hardships in order to prepare us for Friday. This year will conclude my 6th year at RBC/Kuyper and mark the 8th year we have looked for a house! Granted there has been breaks in there, we have been working toward both of these for sometime! I think that its awsome that they both conclude on the same day (even symbollicly).

Here's to many years in our new house, many late evenings of fellowship, and great memories with our family.

By the way, if you are in the area of Alger Heights on Sat, drive down Blaine and look for us, you are always welcome. (Really anyone who reads this is already booked to be there Sat so...)

WORTH THE WAIT

OK SO I AM A LITTLE LATE, BUT WE GOT THE HOUSE! WE GOT THE NEWS ON MONDAY AFTERNOON. WE ARE GETTING INSPECTIONS DONE ON SATURDAY AND IF ALL GOES WELL WE WILL CLOSE ON GRADUATION DAY WHICH IS IN 2 WEEKS. I AM SO EXCITED WORDS DOES NOT EXPRESS. THIS HOUSE IS, WELL WILL BE EVERYTHING WE NEED AND I REALLY COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER AREA IN OUR PRICE RANGE. IT'S ALL A LITTLE SUREAL YET B/C LAST TIME EVERYTHING FEEL THROUGH WITH THE INSPECTIONS BUT I AM HOPEFUL THIS TIME THAT EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. I CAN'T EXPLAIN TO ANYONE WHAT THIS IS GOING TO MEAN TO US. WE HAVE RENTED FOR ALMOST 8 YEARS NOW AND TO HAVE OUR OWN HOME IS THE MOST AMAZING FEELING EVER. I TOLD JOE THAT THE DAY WE CLOSE AND GET THE KEYS I AM GOING TO CRY. SO EVERYONE KEEP YOUR CALANDERS OPEN FOR THE LAST WEEKEND IN APRIL CAUSE WE ARE MOVING!

WAITING, WAITING, FOR THE WORLD TO CHANGE

THIS WHOLE PROCESS IS ENOUGH TO MAKE ANYONE START DRINKING. SO THE OFFER WENT IN ON TUESDAY WHICH WAS 6,000.00 OVER THE ASKING PRICE AND I JUST GOT A CALL THAT THEY ARE "CONSIDERING OUR OFFER" THEY NOW HAVE 3 TO 5 DAYS TO GET BACK TO US. I GUESS THAT THIS BANK IS GETTING TONS OF OFFERS ON HOUSES THEY OWN AND MOST OF THEM ARE GETTING REJECTED B/C OF THE LOW PRICES. I CAN TELL YOU THAT THROUGH THIS I HAVE LEARNED THAT THE PRESUMPTION THAT YOU CAN GO 20,000.00 LESS IS SO UN-TRUE. THESE BANKS COULD CARE LESS IF THEY SELL IT, THEY ARE GETTING THEIR MONEY, IT'S THE NEIGHBORHOODS THAT ARE GETTING UPSET, THE HOUSES ARE LOOKING SHABBY AND THEY WANT PEOPLE IN THEM. ANYWAY ENOUGH OF MY RANTING, EVERYONE KEEP PRAYING AND HOPEFULLY I WILL UPDATE SOON WITH GOOD NEWS.
